How claims are handled
Identify the original work, the exact URL, your rights and supporting evidence.
NOIRMO may restrict or remove content first where the risk is clear or continuing, then notify the relevant parties.
The submitter may respond with source files, licences, collaboration records or other evidence of lawful use.
1. Covered claims
This process covers copyright, master and performance rights, trade marks, name, image, privacy and other rights directly connected to platform content. Use the general contact page for support, quotes or account issues.
2. Required notice information
Provide the claimant and contact email, rights holder, original work or rights description, the exact URL or identifiable location, the specific basis of the claim, supporting evidence, an authority document for representatives, and a statement that the information is accurate and authorised. Avoid unrelated sensitive data or full identity documents.
3. Initial review and temporary measures
NOIRMO reviews sufficiently identifiable notices and may contact the submitter. Where risk is clear, ongoing or legally urgent, NOIRMO may restrict streaming, hide, disable download or remove the content before completing its review. This operational decision is not a final court determination of ownership.
4. Submitter response
The musician or submitter may provide original project files, contributor information, licences, commission or collaboration records, source material, AI disclosure and other evidence of lawful use. If the conflict cannot be resolved from the available record, the restriction may remain pending agreement, mediation, court or another competent process.
5. Repeat infringement and account action
Repeated infringement, impersonation, false rights information or refusal to provide necessary evidence may result in upload limits, suspended works, loss of musician status or account termination. Correctable minor issues may first receive a request to remedy.
6. Good-faith statements and records
Claims and responses must be truthful, specific and submitted by an authorised person. Fraudulent, impersonated or harassing claims, and forged evidence, may create liability. NOIRMO uses claim data to verify identity, contact parties, secure the platform and keep necessary dispute records, and may share necessary information with the other party, processors, advisers or competent authorities.
7. Current submission channel
Email is the current official intake channel. Automated case numbers and an account tracking dashboard are not yet available. Keep the sent message, attachments and correspondence for your records.
